Economic Development

Enjoy the safety and leisurely pace of a small town including a lower cost of doing business. Stroud offers several distinct advantages.

"American Indian Land usage for Business": - This Oklahoma program contains incentive packages to bring business to Oklahoma, American Indian Lands,  and assist new business development. Stroud's workforce has a strong work ethic. Business/Industry finds a workforce that is diverse, educated, and skilled. We offer a 2 million people workforce drawing from our two major metropolitan areas.

Site is accessed by an industrial access road, capable of handling semi-trailer traffic. Construction to expand segments of State Highway 99 to four lane from its junction with Interstate 44 through Stroud to Interstate 40 is almost complete.
Environmental: The site is located in an area with national ambient air quality standards. The site is free of environmental contamination, wetlands restrictions or other issues which would interfere with immediate development of the property.
Zoning: Site is appropriately zoned for light manufacturing  processing and distribution facilities.

Stroud Lake (14,684 AF) supplies water to a treatment plant which provides the community with 1,500,000 GPD capacity, while consumption ranges from 245,000 to 400,000 GPD.  Processed water demands from 350 gallons-per-minute to 800 gallons-per-minute instantaneous demand are available, onsite at 65-76 psi pressures. The city's sewer treatment plant capable of treating 230,000 gal/day, with a BOD load of up to  3300 lbs/day and a TSS load of up to 250 lbs/day.  Natural gas distribution is provided to the site by the Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, and is available in quantities to meet heavy  industrial requirements.
