This Oklahoma program contains incentive packages to bring business to Oklahoma,
American Indian Lands, and assist new business development. Stroud's workforce

educated, and skilled. We offer a 2 million people workforce drawing from our
two major metropolitan areas.
Central Technology Center: -
Central Tech is a leader in economic development and training. The Business and
Industry Services division provides assistance to small business in the areas of
business planning, accounting, web site development and e-commerce.
Industrial Site:
-
Stroud aggressively pursues corporations to its industrial site. It includes:
100 acres; symmetrical L - shaped; grade of less than 1%; soil conditions
provide for a load bearing capacity in excess of 4000 psi; site does not have
easements or covenants which would impair flexibility in utilizing property.
Access: Rail line is readily accessible to the site and service runs
parallel to and along the North property boundary. Access to State/Interstate
system is less than one-half mile away. Site is accessed by an industrial access
road, capable of handling semi-trailer traffic. Construction to expand segments
of State Highway 99 to four lane from its junction with Interstate 44 through
Stroud to Interstate 40 is almost complete.
Environmental:
The site is located in an area with national ambient air quality standards. The
site is free of environmental contamination, wetlands restrictions or other
issues which would interfere with immediate development of the property.
Zoning:
Site is appropriately zoned for light manufacturing processing and distribution
facilities.
Utilities:
Stroud offers low-cost utilities. Stroud Lake (14,684 AF) supplies water to a
treatment plant which provides the community with 1,500,000 GPD capacity, while
consumption ranges from 245,000 to 400,000 GPD. Processed water demands from
350 gallons-per-minute to 800 gallons-per-minute instantaneous demand are
available, onsite at 65-76 psi pressures. The city's sewer treatment plant
capable of treating 230,000 gal/day, with a BOD load of up to 3300 lbs/day and
a TSS load of up to 250 lbs/day. Natural gas distribution is provided to the
site by the Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, and is available in quantities to meet
heavy industrial requirements. The City of Stroud operates the electric
utility, which is capable of meeting the following: Use - 965,000 kWh on-peak,
1,035,000 kWh off-peak; Demand - 3500 kva on-peak, 3200 kva off-peak.
